Liz has been at the helm of Lifelong Supports since 1996. Alongside her role as CEO, she holds the position of Queensland chair of National Disability Services (NDS), where her expertise contributes to shaping policies and driving progress in the sector.
Her academic accomplishments include a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, a Cert IV in Frontline Management, a Diploma of Community Services Coordination, and a Cert IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
Liz's journey began as a support worker during her university years, a role that sparked her passion for creating positive change. Her affinity for people and adept communication skills have been key drivers in her career. She values the power of good conversation, spending time with family, in reading and music, and her animals.
Melissa has worked in a variety of roles across the organisation since starting as a Support Worker in 1999.
Her currents roles are Support Coordination and Quality Assurance. Aspects of Quality Assurance include ensuring that the business is maintaining its obligation under a variety of standards including NDIS and Aged Care, reviewing and monitoring practices and processes.
She has a variety of qualifications including Frontline Management, Advance Diploma in Disability Studies, Workplace Assessor and Trainer and Internal Auditing. And yes, she loves a good list and a white board.
Sophie is a dedicated health and disability professional with more than 15 years of experience in achieving positive outcomes for her clients.
Sophie takes pride in building long-lasting, trust-based relationships through active engagement and learning about her clients.
Although based in Ingham with her family for over 20 years, Sophie was born in Tasmania and spent her childhood in Australia and overseas, contributing to her inclusive and accepting nature. When not supporting her clients, Sophie enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends and loves cheering on her kids on the sports field.
Narelle began with Lifelong Supports as a support worker and has since transitioned into support coordination. Narelle is currently completing her cert in Training and assessing.
She is client focused, loves meeting new people and is often in charge of our new staff inductions.
Narelle enjoys the challenge of working with clients with mental health concerns and behavioural issues. On the weekends she can be found going camping, fishing and all things outdoors with her family and grandchildren.
As a Support Coordinator, the energy and optimism Verity brings to her role is well known here at Lifelong Supports with her qualities of kindness, patience, and a diligent and organised work ethic alongside her keen eye for detail.
Verity is motivated to find a variety of pathways to assist in supporting our participants to improve and build their capacity towards achieving their goals as they choose. This has led to Verity completing a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance to further support clients to reduce the impact of functional decline. Lifelong Supports has many valued relationships with Allied Health Professionals in our local and wider community.
A gifted musician having begun playing the piano at age 6, Verity enjoys all things music in her free time, catching up with friends and spending time with family.
Shari, a seasoned Respite Coordinator with over 12 years of experience, currently holds the role of managing SIL housing and in- home clients.
Her journey commenced as a support worker, and her passion for caregiving has continued to flourish. Juggling this rewarding career with being a mother to three boys, Shari's life is undeniably bustling. Recognised for her qualities of honesty, reliability, dedication, and passion, Shari approaches her responsibilities with compassion, understanding and empathy, consistently staying well-informed and proactive in her commitment to delivering top-notch care and support.
Meet Linda Maltby, Linda began with Lifelong Supports as a support worker and has since transitioned into Support coordination and Rostering clerk.
Linda is a dedicated professional with more than 11 years’ experience in the industry. Although her main role is rostering management, she also has a passion for achieving positive outcomes for her participants. During her time outside the organisation Linda enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and fishing.
Shannen is a proud Ingham local with a deep passion for supporting her community. Starting her career as a Youth Worker in 2018, she has since gained experience across diverse areas including Homelessness, Community Recovery, Managerial Roles, and Support Work. Her true strength lies in the mental health space, where her own lived experience drives her commitment to making a difference.
Currently studying a Bachelor of Social Work at JCU, Shannen is dedicated to creating positive change and is an active member of Lions Ingham. Community is at the heart of everything she does.
Outside of her work and studies, Shannen enjoys spending time at home with her four boys and her Golden Retriever, Marley. She’s also a big fan of The Simpsons and Doctor Who, which add a touch of fun and adventure to her downtime.
Meet Debra, As a locally based Asset Manager for our not-for-profit organisation, Debra is responsible for the strategic oversight and lifecycle management of both physical and digital assets. Her work covers procurement, maintenance, compliance, and disposal, ensuring assets are managed sustainably and deliver the best value for our mission.
Debra works closely with teams across the organisation to support program delivery, uphold safety and compliance standards, and maintain accurate asset records for accountability and reporting. With strong expertise in asset tracking systems, stakeholder engagement, and budget planning, Debra plays a vital role in ensuring resources are effectively managed to enhance outcomes for the communities we serve.
Brooke has recently relocated to Ingham from Cairns and is excited to become part of the local community. With a strong background in customer service and administration, she takes pride in creating a warm, professional first impression for clients and visitors. She is passionate about building genuine connections, maintaining an organised and efficient front desk, and helping ensure a positive experience for everyone. Brooke looks forward to getting to know our clients and contributing to the ongoing success of the team.
Meet Emilee, After growing up in Ingham, Emilee relocated to Townsville, where she spent eight years in the childcare industry, progressing to the role of Assistant Director. When she and her partner decided to return to Ingham to be closer to family, she was delighted to join the Lifelong Supports team as a Reception and Administration Support Officer. Over the past year, Emilee has enjoyed seeing the organisation grow, welcoming new team members, and helping to ensure daily operations run smoothly. She takes pride in creating a positive and supportive environment for both staff and participants, ensuring everyone who contacts or visits Lifelong Supports feels welcomed, valued, and confident that their needs are being met.
Dianna has been employed in various Finance and Accounting Support positions across her 22-year career. She joined the team at Lifelong Supports (formerly Ingham Disability Support Services) in 2021.
Her current role as Senior Finance Officer within the organisation has her responsible for managing, maintaining, and analysing financial records and the preparation of financial reports for a management committee.
Dianna’s keen eye for detail is critical when budgeting, managing accounts, reconciliation and completing payroll processes for our 100 employees. Although Dianna’s role is behind the scenes within the organisation, she enjoys meeting new people and her co-workers love her infectious laugh. Dianna was born in Ingham and enjoys cooking, spending time with her young family and visiting new places in her spare time.
Since joining Lifelong Supports (formally Ingham Disability Support Services) in 2018, Sheree has worked in a variety of roles within the organisation, growing from duties in reception to finding her optimal role working closely with Dianna in the finance sector.
Sheree’s main roles within the organisation include but are not limited to maintaining accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and data transfers among various software’s.
She is a keen learner and an incredibly reliable and trustworthy member of our team, always happy to help-out and a great forward thinker. Sheree has many hobbies and is happiest outdoors, she is an active member of the local dirt bike and soccer clubs and when the weather is good, she can be found fishing and exploring the Islands on her jet ski with friends.
Meet Sonia, Sonia is our Roster Clerk but beyond that she is a compassionate and empathetic soul.
She embodies a genuine thirst for personal growth and a commitment to making a positive impact on the clients. Sonia’s journey through life is one of continuous learning, exploration and making meaningful connections with others. A born & bred local of 28 years in Ingham. Sonia has spent the last 6 years working in the organisation.
Anthony is a dedicated and passionate Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Officer, committed to creating safe and secure environments for workers and participants alike.
With a solid background in risk management, compliance, and accident prevention, Anthony plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our most valuable asset - our people.
Scott is a dedicated Aged Care Coordinator with a passion for supporting elderly members of the community to live with dignity, comfort, and independence. With previous experience as a Project Coordinator, he brings strong organizational skills and a compassionate approach to aged care. Outside of work, Scott enjoys traveling, photography, and renovating his home reflecting his creative spirit.
Samantha has dedicated nearly a decade to our team as a Disability Support Worker, apart from the 6 months that she travelled and worked overseas.
Sam relished in the challenges of working in a remote town in the Northwest Territories in Canada, where she took on the roles of being a Nanny and of a Support Worker.
Sam is passionate about preserving life’s precious moments and has enjoyed managing our social media accounts over the past year.
Alongside being Lifelong Supports Social Media Manager, she maintains her role as a Disability Support Worker, assisting her clients to achieve their goals and to live their lives to the fullest.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Sam finds joy in traveling, hiking, reading, gaming, spending time with animals and cherishing moments with her family.

With years of experience and a genuine understanding of the unique needs of older adults, Santina brings a warm and comforting presence to every interaction.
With 28 years in the pharmacy industry and 3 years as a Support Coordinator in the NDIS sector, Melissa brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her current role in aged care administration. She is deeply passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals to live independently and with dignity, ensuring they receive the care and respect they deserve. Melissa is known for giving her best in everything she does, both professionally and personally. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and listening to country music.
Chiara is a dedicated Aged Care Administrator with a Diploma in Business and a heartfelt commitment to supporting elderly. With a strong belief that everyone deserves to age with dignity, Chiara works tirelessly to help individuals remain in their own homes, surrounded by comfort, independence, and familiarity. Her role blends compassion with operational excellence, ensuring that the right support systems are in place to promote quality of life and wellbeing. Outside of work, Chiara enjoys singing for audiences and spending time outdoors boating, fishing, and camping — activities that reflect her vibrant and community-focused spirit.

Rachel is the first friendly face you’ll see when you walk into Lifelong Supports.
Originally from Ingham, she relocated to Townsville for nursing studies at JCU but chose a different path after deferring her studies. Rachel's friendly and caring nature greets everyone with a smile at Lifelong Supports, where she efficiently handles tasks ranging from call management and meeting coordination to administrative duties like filing and scanning.
Her commitment to staff competencies and her eagerness to assist make her an indispensable part of the team.
